Ohk! So most of us have been in that one relationship in our lives we look back to fondly and think "Why did it ever end?" or "Thats the closest I ever came to finding true love!" That brings us to soul-mates. Who are these cherished beings and throughout our lives why do we keep striving to find one? In order to understand this, lets take a step back and see what that one cherished relationship from our past gave us that we think is impossible to achieve with anybody else. Since, everyone's different , I ll just speak from my experience. That relationship made me a better person. I don't mean in a moral sense but it brought out a side of me and a talent that I had neglected for far too long. And I am pretty sure, everybody's soulmate made them feel good about themselves in one way or the other. Now since, soul-mates are so good at bringing out the best in us, isn't it kind of unfair that there's only one of them? Well, that's the point where I disagree with most people. I don't think our quest for true love ends with a soulmate. I believe that our quest for true love is actually a never ending journey. There are no soul-mates. There is no perfect another for any of us. Yeah, I believe God tricked us that way. And on our way to finding this cherished soul we bump into many other less perfect ones and each of them introduces us to something we have ignored or never knew we had within ourselves. So, may be we are unfortunate souls whose search is deemed to end in a failure or we are lucky to be blessed with many soul-mates instead of one. Choose either way to look at this, the truth is its all about the journey!
